The Victron Energy MultiPlus Compact 12/2000/80-50 120V VE.Bus Inverter/charger (UL) is an efficient truly sine wave inverter. This advanced battery charger will prevent an overload of constrained AC sources, such as a generator or shore power connection, by combining adaptive charge technology and a high-speed AC transfer switch in a single compact enclosure.

The inverter in the MultiPlus is automatically activated and takes over the supply to the connected loads in less than 20 milliseconds in the event of a grid failure or when shore or generator power is disconnected, ensuring that computers and other electronic equipment can continue to function without interruption.

  There will be no interruption while switching over the supply to the connected devices thanks to the main output's no-break functionality for computers and other electronic equipment with less than 20 milliseconds of delay. The second output is only active when AC is available for the MultiPlus, avoiding loads like the water heater from draining the battery.
  
  
• Parallel operation capability
  The ability to operate in parallel can supply almost infinite power. 420 amps of charging capacity and 15kW/18kVA of output power are both possible with up to 6 MultiPluses operating in parallel.
  
  
• Supply electricity in three phases (3 units are needed).
  
  
• PowerControl - Dealing with limited generator, shoreside, or grid power. MultiPlus is a very powerful battery charger; with the Multi-Control panel, a maximum generator or shore current may be set; as a result, MultiPlus will only use the surplus current for battery charging while taking into consideration other AC loads to avoid overloading the generator or shore.
• Increasing the capacity of the shore or generator with PowerAssist.
  MultiPlus, which expands on the concepts of PowerControl, will be able to increase the capacity of the alternative source. The MultiPlus will make sure that insufficient solar or generator power is made up for by electricity from the battery in situations where peak power is only required for a brief period of time.
  
  
• Dual bank battery charging and a four-stage adaptive charger
  Using the 'Adaptive Charge' software, the primary output delivers a strong charge to the battery system. The software adds a fourth stage for prolonged float charge after automatically fine-tuning the three stages to account for battery state.   After installation, the system is ready to use, and any necessary adjustments can be made quickly by adjusting the DIP switch setting.
