A watertight Q-TERM-10 Terminator Cap must be used to secure the cut cable ends of the Q-Cable. Each branch circuit would normally need two terminators. The terminator is only supposed to be used once.
NOTE: If you open the terminator again after the installation, the latching mechanism will be broken, making the device useless. The latching mechanism has damage that cannot be seen with the naked eye. To ensure that the terminator is not inadvertently reused, mark it and dispose of it right away.
